Channing School

Channing School is an independent all-girls day school located in Highgate, London. Founded in 1885, the school was established to promote the principles of scholarship, integrity, altruism, and independence. These values continue to inform the ethos of the school, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to excel academically while also developing strong character and discovering their own talents.

With consistently high results, Channing School is recognized as one of the top-performing schools in the country. Girls are admitted to the junior school at 4+ years old, and progression to the senior school is automatic with no further testing required. External students can join the school at 11+ years old via the London Consortium tests, which are taken in January of Year 6. The school places great emphasis on the development of character and ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to discover her own talents.
